In the pursuit of talent retention in biz

In any biz, good talent exit first when workplace condition is not conducive. The challenge for biz is to retain talent while weeding out bad apples.

How do biz achieve this?

  • Good work-life balance, e.g. implement Flexi-work hours (for families), process automation, procedure/system upgrade to improve work efficiency that frees up time for what matters most to employees.
  • Remove the weakest link to strengthen organization and improve morale and reduce any toxic workplace.
  • Have opportunity to improve, recognized and rewarded. Companies that convey “talents can be replaced” is not a good one.
  • Have clear and consistent expectations and goals.
  • Mutual trust and respect.
