Salesperson targeting MRT station during rush hour (at 6 to 8 am or 5 to 7 pm) to catch commuters will be disappointed. The success rate of business lead will be very low. Isn’t the outcome rather counterintuitive because more ‘people traffic’ is supposed to produce more leads?
However, if you reasoned really hard, you would realize the following.
- Early rush hour comprises people rushing to work or appointments
- Evening rush hour comprises tired and hungry people rushing to families and dinners
- There are less shoppers during rush hours
- Irritated people don’t give business leads if they feel ‘intruded’
High human traffic with wrong approach translates to no lead.
